Vivoline Medical makes national news

Innovation Team played an active role in the design and development of Vivoline Medical’s LS1, the first CE-marked system of its kind. Vivoline LS1 is intended for reconditioning, evaluation and cold preservation of lungs ex-vivo, after donation and prior to transplantation, up to 24 hours. Today there are more people in need of a new lung than there are donated lungs available. This depends to a large extent on the fact that only about 20 % of the donated lungs are accepted for transplantation.
